Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar. Beat until the mixture is smooth and creamy, about 2-3 minutes.
  2. In another bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
  3. Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture, followed by the Baileys Irish Cream alternative.
Layering
  1. Layer chocolate cookie crumbs at the base of a trifle dish or individual cups, followed by the Baileys cream mixture and chocolate ganache.
  2. Repeat the layers, finishing with the Baileys cream mixture on top.
Chilling
  1. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours to allow the flavors to meld.
Garnishing
  1. Before serving, garnish with dark chocolate shavings and fresh mint leaves.

Notes

For best results, let the trifle sit overnight in the refrigerator. Consider adding sliced fresh berries for additional flavor and visual appeal. Avoid freezing as it may affect the texture of the whipped cream.
